45g of organic loose leaf herbs will serve you up to 30 cups of tea.

  • Infuse and Serve:  

    Hot or cold

    Hot: 1tsp per 250mls at 90˚C / Infuse 5-10 mins / Enjoy 1-3 refills

    A slightly longer brew will allow the herbs to release their full potential into your infusion.

    Cold: 2tsp per 250mls at 90˚C / Infuse 1-3 hrs/ Strain, bottle, keep in fridge for up to 72hrs / Serve 1 part tea : 2 parts still/sparkling H20

    Additional Herbs: Add fresh Lemon balm and/ or a few drops of Cramp Bark tincture for added relief from stomach cramps.

  • Chamomile/ Matricaria recutita

    This gentle and sweet smelling herb has excellent relaxing actions. It also has anti-spasmodic, anti- inflammatory, nervine, and analgesic properties that’s will support you through menstruation.

     

    Wild Raspberry Leaf/ Rubus idaeus

    This herb is historically valued to be an effective womb tonic. The properties held within Raspberry leaf will help tone and strengthen muscles in the pelvic region, thus helping to prevent cramping, nausea and diarrhoea during your menstruation.

     

    Calendula/ Calendula officinalis

    Calendula is wonderfully soothing and mellow herb, This herb has anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-spasmodic properties. It is a go to herb whenever inflammation is present and is very well known women’s herb to be used throughout the cycle especially when periods can be painful.

     

    Ginger/ Zingiber officinalis

    This warming and aromatic root is effective in providing relief from inflammation and pain and is also used to ease menstrual cramping. Ginger is a wonderful remedy for easing sickness and nausea which commonly accompany menstruation. Ginger also stimulates and supports the digestive system, it is commonly used to treat colds, flu and sinus infections to utilise its antimicrobial properties. 

     

    Skullcap/ Sculateria laterifolia

    Skullcap is a gentle yet effective anti-spasmodic and analgesic, making this an ideal herb to combine with the other Moontime herbs. It is known to ease pre-menstrual tension and ease discomfort.
